Resource allocation

CPU cores and main memory are consumable resources. On LiSC, these resources are not enforced. Instead, jobs need to be monitored by the users according to their resource usage. More information on slurm job monitoring, resource allocation and limitation is available in the LiSC wiki.

As feedback to the users we monitor the resource allocation efficiency daily, weekly and monthly. TOP 20 mis-allocators of CPU cores and memory capacity are listed in text files (see below).
